Event Live Streaming Examples
Watch It Live by CeremonyCast uses the latest event live streaming technology to put your online participants at the heart of your event, however, wherever and whenever they’re watching.
NSW State Parliament, Sydney
“The Bare Pit” is a prestigious annual discussion and debate event held in the chamber of NSW Parliament attended by MPs, thought leaders and philosophers. It is a hybrid event with an online audience joining those present in person. We were asked by the organisers to live stream and record the event in preference to the in-house facility as we could provide more bespoke coverage. The recordings of the event were also delivered for use on social media and for internal use.
Qtopia, Sydney
CeremonyCast is proud to have captured Fearless Voices – a keynote panel discussion with a group of people whose historic actions changed lives for the better.
Part of Qtopia Sydney’s Pride Month calendar of events, three of the iconic Sydney 78ers marked the anniversary of the First Mardi Gras with an insightful and lively conversation looking back at recent, and not so recent, social history.
The 78ers – those Fearless Voices – are a group of LGBTIQA+ activists who marched in the original Sydney Mardi Gras on 24 June 1978. They participated in subsequent protests against police violence and the arrests of participants. These brave individuals played a pivotal role in advocating for gay and lesbian rights, enduring trauma and adversity as they fought for equality.
Australian Directors’ Guild, Sydney
The Australian Directors’ Guild asked us to live stream their “Deep Dive” event to paid subscribers online. Held at the Australian Film , Television and Radio School (AFTRS), the whole-day event was a series of panel discussions around Australian production “The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart”.
The recordings of the event were also delivered for use on social media and for internal use.
The Ethics Centre. Sydney
We were asked to live stream a series of hybrid events organised by the Ethics Centre in Sydney called “The Ethics Of…” with an audience present in person and another audience joining live online.
Using two camera crews, our brief was to capture the event for the paying online audience in a way that brought extra pace, colour, excitement and professional production values to the live stream. A roving mobile camera added to the mix provided fast reactive shots, ensuring those asking questions could be clearly seen. We created a title sequence for the live stream, designed new animated on-screen graphics, lower thirds and branding to keep the Ethics Centre name front and centre.
Archie Rose Gin Distillery, Sydney
We live streamed a book club organised by Archie Rose in collaboration with Booktopia from the rooftop of NSW State Library in Sydney. The event was to promote two book plus Archie Rose’s The Writers Gin.
This was a hybrid event with an audience present in person and online. Our event live streaming page was branded under the Archie Rose banner and we implemented a live chat facility so those watching remotely could participate and ask questions.
The recordings of the event were also delivered for use in socials and further brand promotion.
School Graduations and Prizegiving Ceremonies
We have live streamed a number of graduation ceremonies at schools across Sydney for parents and families watching online.
These events are a fast-moving mix of speeches, presentations, live musical performances and video inserts. It’s important to clearly show every pupil receiving an award and to convey every aspect of the event to the online audience. We use two camera crews and a combination of fixed and mobile cameras plus a series of wireless microphones to provide good sound.
The videos are also delivered as an edited recording for the school YouTube page and school archive.
Tree Veneration Society, Woollahra
We were asked to live stream a 2 hour symposium to create a hybrid event with people attend in person and online.
The President and Founder of the Tree Veneration Society led symposium speakers in an exploration of successful strategies for artists and others to encourage positive engagement with trees and the natural environment in an increasingly urgent context. The event was also made available for viewing afterwards.
St Mary’s Church, North Sydney
St Mary’s Catholic Church in North Sydney invited CeremonyCast to live stream a night of musical performance and poetry called “Sounds of Ignatius”.
We were able to capture this event in a simple and straightforward way according to their budget and brief. Two fixed cameras set up in the choir loft offered a series of different wide shots and close ups of the event, coupled with wireless microphones placed in four locations to ensure professional audio.
